Chocolate Truffles With Truffle!

Chocolate Truffles With Truffle!


  • 225g Good-quality dark chocolate, broken into small pieces.
  • 100ml Double cream.
  • 75ml Great Southern Truffle Honey or Great Southern Truffle Butter (yes you get to choose).
  • Icing sugar to dust.
  • Cocoa powder, sifted, to roll.


  1. Place chocolate in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Place cream in a saucepan and bring to the boil, then immediately pour over chocolate.
  3. Mix until chocolate has melted. (This is called a ganache).
  4. Drizzle in Truffle Honey or Truffle butter.
  5. Set aside at room temperature, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to cool completely and until set.
  6. Use a teaspoon to spoon out bite-sized pieces.
  7. Dust your hands with a little icing sugar to prevent them sticking and roll mixture into balls in the palm of your hands.
  8. Roll in cocoa; serve with coffee or give them as a present.
