Bacalhau "à Brás" with Truffle Oil
This is a classic Portuguese dish, and you can give it a gourmet twist by adding Truffle Oil for an intense, aromatic flavor.
Ingredients:
400g shredded bacalao (salted cod)
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 medium potatoes, julienned and fried
3 beaten eggs
2 tablespoons Truffle Oil (Great Southern Truffles)
Black olives (for garnish)
Chopped parsley
Instructions:
Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil until golden brown.
Add the shredded bacalao and cook for a few minutes.
Add the fried potato sticks (palha potatoes) and mix well.
Beat the eggs and pour them over the codfish mixture, stirring until well combined.
Drizzle the Truffle Oil over the mixture and stir until a creamy texture forms.
Garnish with black olives and chopped parsley.
Serve as a main dish, accompanied by a fresh salad. 🍽️😋
