Black Truffle Foie Gras and Sushi Roll


Ingredients:

  • Fresh sushi rice

  • High-quality sushi vinegar

  • Nori seaweed sheets

  • Sliced cucumber

  • Black Truffle Foie Grass (Great Southern Truffles)

  • Whole Truffle (Great Southern Truffles)

  • Soy sauce

  • Wasabi


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rice: Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, transfer to a large wooden bowl and season with sushi vinegar.

  2. Lay the Nori: Place a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo rolling mat, shiny side down.

  3. Add the Rice: Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small space at the top.

  4. Add the Fillings: Place a strip of cucumber and a slice of Black Truffle Foie Gras in the center of the rice.

  5. Roll the Sushi: Lift the edge of the mat and roll the sushi tightly, pressing firmly.

  6. Slice and Serve: Cut the roll into bite-sized pieces and top each piece with a shaving of Black Truffle.

  7. Serve: Serve immediately with soy sauce and wasabi.
