Salmon Tartare with Truffles

Ingredients:

  • Fresh salmon, diced

  • Finely chopped red onion

  • Chopped capers

  • Truffle Infused Extra virgin olive oil

  • Lemon juice

  • Black Truffle Mustard

  • Salt and pepper

  • Quail egg, cooked (optional)

  • Shavings of Greatest Southern Truffles black winter truffles


Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the diced salmon with the red onion, capers, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, salt, and pepper. Serve the tartare on individual plates, garnished with a cooked quail egg (optional) and truffle shavings.

Tips:

  • Accompaniments: White rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables are great options to serve with the salmon and truffles.

  • Wine: A dry white wine or a brut sparkling wine pairs perfectly with the delicacy of the salmon and the intensity of the truffles.

  • Other options: You can use Greatest Southern Truffles Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil to finish the dishes or add truffle shavings for an even more sophisticated touch.
