
Filet Mignon with Truffle and Spice Sauce 🥩
Ingredients:
2 filet mignon steaks (about 200g each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup Truffle and Spice sauce (Great Southern Truffles)
Instructions:
Season the steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Sear the filet mignon for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your preferred doneness.
Add butter to the pan in the last minute of cooking and baste the steaks with the melted butter for extra flavor.
Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
Drizzle with Truffle and Spice sauce before serving for a rich and gourmet finish.
