FOODEX Japan 2025 marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 50th edition at Tokyo Big Sight from March 11 to 14. As one of the largest international food and beverage exhibitions in Asia, the event welcomed over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, providing an invaluable platform for businesses to expand their market reach and discover emerging industry trends.

This year, we were honored to participate in FOODEX Japan 2025 as part of a collaborative stand featuring several Western Australian (WA) businesses, supported by the WA government. This partnership highlighted the region’s commitment to promoting premium agrifood and beverage products on a global stage.

As a company specializing in gourmet truffle-based products, our participation in FOODEX Japan was an incredible opportunity to introduce our unique offerings to a wider audience. Our product line, including Truffle & Spice, Black Truffle Aioli, Truffle Butter, Truffle Foie Gras, Truffle Honey, Truffle Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Truffle Mustard, Truffle Nougat, Truffle Salsa, Truffle Salt, Truffle Sauce, Whole Truffle, and Sliced Truffle, captivated attendees with their exquisite flavors and premium quality.

Visitors to our stand had the chance to experience the depth of flavor that truffles bring to culinary creations, enhancing dishes with their rich and aromatic essence. We engaged with chefs, food industry professionals, and importers eager to explore the versatility of our truffle-based products in the Japanese market.


Western Australia’s Strong Presence


Supported by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and Invest and Trade WA Japan, our joint participation with WA businesses demonstrated the strength of the region’s food and beverage industry. FOODEX Japan provided a critical opportunity for WA exporters to establish meaningful trade connections, gain insights into the Japanese market, and explore new business opportunities.

Japan is WA’s second-largest export destination, with exports exceeding $1.6 billion in 2022-23. While the majority of WA exports to Japan consist of cereal grains, the market also has a growing demand for high-quality gourmet products such as truffles, honey, wine, seafood, and premium meats. This trade relationship has been instrumental in fostering new growth avenues for businesses like ours, bringing the finest WA products to international markets.


Our Manager Director, Adam Wilson, shared his enthusiasm about the event, stating:

"The Foodex event was once again well attended. The West Australian booth had a strong number of visitors who are seeing the high quality produce coming from our region. Excitement from all participants and seems like quality was on the menu to the visitors who came to our booth. The follow-up and future conversations will continue and I am sure the Japanese are going to see more delicious Australian produce in their restaurants and the retail market very soon."
